My Booth Sign
I'm too thrifty to pay for a booth sign. So I am making it myself. It's a 1/4" plywood board, with canvas glued to it. When it is done, I will add some attractive chain so it will hang in my booth. I had a postcard blown up at Staples, reverse image. I penciled it over, and pressed the image into the canvas. I should have painted the canvas green before transferring the image! It was work painting in around the flowers. So far so good! I still need to add the black details, and other colors.
It's more fall here everyday. The maple trees are explosions of bright yellow and orange. The apples on the trees are crisp and sweet, we need to pick a bunch. Next year I will teach myself to can, so we can have applesauce and more. There is such an abundance of fruit in this valley. I have 3 gallons of blackberries frozen, for pie in the winter! Hat progress stalled yesterday, I had four packages to pack and mail. One hat is going all the way to Australia! Etsy is so cool, I now have customers all over the place. I'm still at work for the upcoming shows, 25 hats to boast about so far. I will wait after the shows (omg, two and a half weeks and counting!) to post some hats on Etsy. It's so hard to break up the latest collection.
