Natural And Synthetic Yarn Capabilities
We convert a wide range of fibers into yarn, including:
- Natural fibers: wool, Merino sheep, alpaca, angora, bison, camel, cashmere, llama, mohair, bamboo and silk
- Synthetic fibers: nylon, acrylic, polyester, Nomex®, Kevlar®, Kanecaron® modacrylic, and more
Fibers range in size from 1 – 5″, which allows us to produce yarn that is 44 grains/50 yards, or 9.5/1 cotton count and thicker.
How do we do it? We convert fibers into yarns using the ring spun system, following these crucial steps: blending, carding, spinning, winding, doubling, and twisting.
Our technical staff works closely with mills and manufacturers to develop custom yarn blends that meet the performance, durability, and regulatory requirements of our clients. Our yarn is sold by the pound, ranging from 3-8 lb. packages. Average orders range from 5,000 to 10,000 lbs, with smaller runs available upon request. Contact us to discuss your order requirements. Please note that we are not equipped to accept orders of less than 500 lbs.
